Transformer Tank and Cover
The walls of the transformer tanks are manufactured generally from corrugated steel for distribution tansformer. The thickness of the corrugated steel is 1,25 mm or 1,50 mm. All the Cover and the tank of power transformers are manufactured of hot rollled steel plalet.
At the lower part of the tank oil drainvalve and two cross skids carrying the wheels are located the wheels are 900 rotatable in order to push the transformer at both directions.
After completion of welding the first leakage test is performed on the tank. On top of the cover ther are HV and LV bushings, conservator,thermometer pocket and filling pipe etc. The off-load tap changer is assembled over the cover. Hermetically sealed transformer are also available on request
